1950s Reupholstered Vintage Red Sectional Sofa - Sweet Modern - Product - details
1950s Sectional Sofa w/ Reversible Cushions
This is a reupholstered vintage 3-piece sectional from the 1950s or early 1960s. The original cushions on this sofa were reversible with a solid color on one side and stripes on the other. In reupholstering it, we decided to honor the original design.
The solid side is a warm, dark red with tiny flecks of brown. The shade of red reminds us of Frank Lloyd Wright's favorite color, "Cherokee Red". The striped side of the cushions have multiple shades of brown, beige, white, blue, and orange. The frame and legs are solid hardwood and the feet are capped in brass. (Note that the L-shaped cushion on the chaise portion cannot be flipped due to its shape, so it does not reverse.)
113" wide x 96" deep x 29.5" tall
seat height 16.5"
